Looking for a quick way to add to your financial knowledge over the lunch hour? Bored between appointments? Wondering if University of Illinois Extension educators can relate to your concerns about money?
Check out the new blog – Plan Well, Retire Well Blog. Yes, it sounds like that well-known investment education and retirement planning website people are always talking about: Plan Well, Retire Well: Your how-to guide. That’s because the goals of the new blog and the website are similar. Both aim to help younger adults manage their finances now so that they can enjoy their life in the future.
However, blogs and websites are different. Blogs have a personality of their own. Blogs allow people to express opinions -- and to get feedback from readers. Readers who reply to the Plan Well, Retire Well Blog will have their comments posted. Wow! With a blog, educators can have a dialogue with others – that sounds like a lot more fun than just posting a new website page!
As one of the blog authors, I invite you to come to the blog: read some entries and send a reply. I look forward to hearing from you!
